FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Southern States Insurance Agency Inc dba Lakes Agency undergoes move to Brevard County!7/01/2004We are sad to report that the founder of the agency, Jacques S Zinman, passed away recently. His ideals will continue as we go forward. We have moved the agency to the Northern part of the vast coverage area that Jacques had created. Our clients properties reach from Brevard county to Key West and over to parts of the West Coast. Look out North Florida, we are on the way. We are now and up and running. The toll free number you all have will still ring to us. The address has changed as well as the fax number (see below) and email address. All in all, things are going smoothly and I hope to get to all of you personally in the next year. A personal thanks to Linda Curatolo, without whom this move would not have been possible. She is welcome in Brevard county anytime, huh Linda? J 3% Chance of Direct Hurricane Hit! (NASA is here for that reason) This is an important reason for the move. We have found when an area is hit by a disaster so are the neighborhood agents. Usually rendering them helpless along with their clients. Our client have experienced this first hand in 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons. We were able to keep the lines open through thick and thin for all but 5 hours in 2004 storm when we sustained much damage to our property. Claims information was passed along to all that called. We used cell phones, land line and the internet to reach our clients that lost contact in the North Port area. Directing them to shelters, in some cases with only minutes to spare.
